潇洒走一回

日前在医院听闻一则新闻。

有位马来人跌倒伤脑进院治疗，花了百多千，还是回天乏术，与世常辞。

大多数的人都不惜一切代價要挽回自已宝贵的生命，在医院接受种种治疗的方法，一直到死方休。

瑜伽大師Sadhguru在他的讲演中问道：“有谁看过蛇死在路旁的？”

我仔细去想，好像是没有。

大師告訴我们他的经历。

他在山林里修行期間，发现一隻眼镜蛇攀居树上不吃不喝。他将它带下来给它喂食。可是眼镜蛇拒绝进食。它过后还是自已回到树上绝食十数天一直到死为止。

蛇对死也能看得透，懂得迈向死亡潇洒走一回。反而自命是万物之灵的人却看不破它，还千方百计想去求生存。

At times I felt embarrassed while being asked the number of workplaces that I had gone through.
有时候当人们问起我此生换过几次的职场，我会觉得很尴尬，因为这毕竟不是很光彩的事件。

This is because the number would reflect how unwelcome I was to the bosses of my workplace.

员工多次的更换职场只能反映他不受他的上司爱戴和看重。

I could only murmured to those who asked me this question: " Seven."
对于这类敏感的问题我只能细声的回答：“七次。”

I would liken myself as a football being kicked around by 22 players in a soccer match. All the players have the same objective of kicking me into the net of their opposing team, little had they felt the agony sustained by me as a football; the pain of being kicked around and the feeling of being discarded as a child.

The fate of an employee is just like a football. The employer is like a player who would push his subordinate to the extreme to achieve the goal or objective of the organisation.

我喜欢将我自己比喻为一粒足球在一场球赛中任由二十二位敌我双方的球员踢来踢去，千方百计要将我踢进对方的球门。球员们根本不会感受到一粒球被他们用力踢的痛楚。更不会体会到一粒球被人踢来踢去那种被遺弃的感觉。员工是足球；上司是球员。正如球员不惜付出一切代价要将球送入对方的球门；上司为了公司的业绩着想，对员工的工作要求也絲毫不松歇。

A ball can be a jolly one if it has changed its mindset or a shift of paradigm. It could rejoice with the team scoring a goal by not taking side, by forgetting the pain he had to endure when it's being kicked hard into a net.

一粒足球被人踢来踢去是很痛苦的。可是如果它换另一个想法就不同了。譬如当它被某队球员踢入网中时，它可以随喜和分享进球的那份喜悦，而忘却被踢的伤痛。

Happiness is a choice of any individual if he knows how to look at things from the brighter side.

快乐是个人的选择。乐观的人会在痛苦寻找快乐的立足点。

早上六点钟我驾着一辆破烂的车去巴杀买白玉苦瓜。我前面的车灯坏了一粒灯炮，变成独眼龙。

来到交叉路口，当时车辆稀少。
我投机取巧，闪一闪我车灯，好像对美少女眨眼一般，那智能交通灯识趣得立刻亮起绿灯放我通行。

我这《Tok Mat Nik Mat》［潮洲话的独眼眨眼］还真管用，连这二八年华的交通灯也受惊若宠的。

Fact or Fake : The Earth Is Flat

( Disclaimer : what is written by me could be fact or fake as my mind is preoccupied with impressions and knowledge which could be dangling between facts and fakes. I have no intention to mislead or confuse you with my 'fact or fake'. You have to use your critical thinking to judge for yourself. )

History has shown that it is always the powers that be were to decide a phenomenon or event to be a fake or a fact.
They could dictate a fake to be a fact or the other way round and others had to accept it whole-heartedly.
For example, in the Middle Age,  the Catholic Church then was very powerful that the people were told to believe that the earth was flat as in accordance with their teaching or understanding of Christianity.  Scientists then who held  different opinions, theories or postulates would be  prosecuted.
Whoever wanted to conduct experiments to show that the earth was round had to do it quietly and secretly.
Later a Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan became the first person to  circumnavigate the globe.
Having done that, the belief of the church authority that 'the earth is flat'  had become a fake.
