The Johore Bahru Meet
On September 21, 2017,  nineteen of us were staying at the Sweet Home Resort at  Kukup, a coastal town not far from Pontian, Johore.
It's a one-night bungalow stay  for our JB Meet.
All of us enjoyed the stay here without exception as we were free to carry out our activities without restraint as however loud the noise we made it won't affect the residents in the neighborhood.

Some of us were chitchating away; some were playing mahjong while others were singing karaoke happily.
For those few people who were silent in nature could sit quietly at the veranda watching the scenic view provided by the Nature by gazing at the sea, the distant sky with ever-changing clouds.

Staying at the resort was undoubtedly the highlights of the 4D3N stay for the classmates of the Class of '69.

On the first evening at our arrival at Johore Baru, we were given a welcoming garden party by the pool at Aloha Tower. It was a buffet dinner given by our host, Nia.  It was a Hakka cusine  specially ordered by the host to grace the special occasion.

The JB Meet was carefully planned by the organisers more than six months ago. It's through numerous discussions and  adjustments by the committee that it eventually materialised on September 20,2017.

It's of no wonder that it's by far the most successful gathering organised by the Class of '69. I'm pretty sure the participants would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Nia, Guan Pheng, Yang Quing and Betty Liang for their untiring efforts to make this meetup a memorable and unforgettable experience.

The success of the JB Meet was further enhanced by the lively videos and lovely pictures taken by Stanley Khor and Kim Beng, without their snapshots the sweet memories at the Sweet Home Resort would not be able to retain more longer than a few days.
